And how to get me There,

That place that I so long to be,

I trust, You'll get me There!

I often look at where I've been

But so gently You remind me,

To go on, not where I've been!!!

Beloved child,

Your place that is called, There!

Remember, don't look backwards,

Dear Father,

I came out early enough to see

So many blessings

Awaiting me!

Morning glories open wide,

A humming bird 

Taking what's inside!

A butterfly that does the same

And something

That I know no name!

Okra standing tall with fruit,

Like saying to me -

"Stand, bear fruit!"

And always there to greet me

My faithful dog so sweet,

But like a song of Love I've heard -

Our fellowship can not be beat!!!

Good morning, good day,

Then sleep in slumber,

Oh, so sweet -

And wake so we can do again,

Like a young bird in a tree

Cries out, 

"The hawk is after me!"

And like the parent flies to nest,

To comfort young bird,

Give her rest -

You, Oh, Lord, are helping me,

I'm covered with Your loving care -

I'm being taught, I'm being fed!

I'm learning how to stay alive,

I'll teach my children, others too,

As You, Lord, show me -

What to do!!!

Beloved child,

You understand!

I teach you how to rise,

To stand!

I'm teaching you and you go tell -

Take joy in

Dear Father,

As the sun shines through the trees,

As shadows dance about -

I recall Your love for me;

I know what life's about!

I often feel so limited,

Held down by something I can't see

But in our tender time alone

You ever do remind me -

Unlimited is how you see!

That's how You say You see me -

Living life so free!

Not hindered by some unseen force,

For You do reign in Me!!!

You understand -

Stand up, go on, and be so free!

Dear Father,

I enjoy first times too;

I see how much You do!

When I'm reading in Your Word

I get a stirring in my heart,

When firsts I see 

By heart!

The first time You created man,

The first time someone walked with You -

The first time this, the first time that,

So many, many first times!

I think about my life time too -

I want to think like You!

The first time that I heard You, Lord,

Sweetness in my heart!

You said You'd never leave me -

We'd never be apart!

I stir, I stir the passion,

Like first I heard Love rhyme -

When first You called me, 

"Mine!!!"

Dear Father,

So often when I can not see -

The where, the why, oh, why?

You comfort me with friends that care,

Oh, Lord, 

How much You care!

You whisper in a sister's heart,

When my heart breaks apart,

And then that precious someone true

Tells me 

What they heard from You!!!

Beloved child,

Take comfort - 

I go about to find a heart, 

A heart with ears to hear,

And truly I do whisper Love!

My children are connected, You're Mine,

I whisper, Love!!!

That someone might call sadness,

But I know God is helping me -
