My power to devour

All that comes against you;

Flow freshness, child, don't sour!

Indeed, speak forth 

My power!!!

Oh, Lord

I am remembering;

I'm standing tall,

Your armor all-

I'm girded with The Truth!

I reread Your promises;

I draw Your mighty Sword!

I'm standing firm,

Christ's Victory-

Believing every Word!!!

Lord, I often wonder,

Looking for a special thing,

Hoping for a wonder!

Little things excite me,

Whispers do invite me!

Great big things make me move back,

Afraid they might attack! 

So here I stand-

Like so many times before

The great big things 

I do ignore!

I look at just the little things

But You woo me 

To  Great Big Things!!!

Oh, yes, beloved child of Mine!

Great Big Things-

Indeed, it's time!

Little things are wonderful;

They help to get you here-

Here where you can now receive

The bigger 

I've wooed you, believe!!!

I hear the washer,

Dryer too

They've got loads to do!

But I am taking me a break

To spend sweet time with You!

Let's talk about some care of mine,

I know 

You have the time!

So often, Lord, You tell me-

Come and cast my cares, 

And as I do I feel so free

You tell me to remember,

In Christ, I've victory!

So here's my care- filled  load,

I know that You can handle it,

I'm sorry that I mangled it-

I tried myself to handle it!

You always are so kind to me,

So patient in Your helping me

Thank You, Father

I agree... 

You turn my cares

To Victory!!!

As You encourage me...

To always look ahead,

To never look behind me

Just always look ahead!

So here I am again,

Seeing what You say-

With You my future's brighter

Day by day, 

By day!!!

Yes, beloved child of Mine,

Wisdom's in your heart-

Understanding keeps you from

Lies that tear apart!

Truth has taken hold of you-

Child, you know

What to do!

Stay in fellowship with Me-

I shall lead you on and on;

You never are alone,

I AM always with you

The Kingdom is your home!!!
