I Prayed Lord Help Me...

I asked the Lord to help me,

Many years ago-

Lord, help me be a butterfly,

Spread beauty

By and by!

I've been a moth for way too long-

Making many holes;

I want to be a butterfly,

With beauty, fill up holes!

Now I go about this earth,

An instrument of wooing,

So others too will know,

Know that Father loves them so,

And let their colors show!

You're beautiful,

Dear child of God,

Spread joy all around!

Fill up the holes, that moths make,

By knowing Love, your Father,

You are His son,

His daughter!!!

Habits of Victory...

I have so many habits, Lord,

I recognize that some are good;

Some, I know, I ought to change-

Indeed, I know I should!

Thank You! Oh, yes, thank You-

For loving me just as I am,

With all my many habits!

Thank You too, for helping me

To drop the ones

That hinder me,

And keep "habits of victory!"

Oh, how much You're for me-

I treasure

That You know me!!!

Yes, beloved, child of Mine-

Your "habits of true victory!"

Shouting out that you are Mine-

Sweet victory Divine,

Believe and trust

Are both the same,

Beloved, child,

The same!

To say that you believe Me,

The same - to say,

You trust Me!

Pay very close attention-

Do you think that one is harder?

To say, child, that you do believe-

Is saying that you trust Me!

When you say, you trust Me

You're saying,

You believe Me!

When you say you do believe-

Beloved, child,

You trust Me!!!

Oh, Father,

That makes perfect sense!

I believe You-

Is I trust You!

Gentleness Makes Great

My children,

Think of gentle,

Understand I AM!

With gentleness I care for you,

Gentle, child, I AM!

As you let Me tend to you-

Nourish and protect you,

You find that you are gentle too,

Indeed, I shall increase you!

Greatness comes from gentleness-

Rest under Father’s care!

The world has it’s harshness

But greatness

Comes from gentleness!

The world doesn’t understand

How powerful is gentleness,

How it produces

Greatness!

In gentleness I reached for you

To give you all I have-

I've got so much to do, Lord,

Today feels like a circus ride-

I'm really getting dizzy!

"Stop!" I hear,

With inner ear,

Take some time to spend with Me

I'll help you out of busy,

I'll calm you,

Calm your dizzy!!!

How I need Your help!

I need to hear Your plan!

I need to be alone with You-

I really need Your plan!
