Don't despair!

Comparing is a game from hell

And hell does not play fair!

When we are in the garden

Together we agree

The beauty all around you

Means so much to thee!

Don't lose that thankfulness,

Keep it ever glowing

The truth is that The Blessing

Indeed, child, it is showing!!!

Oh, Father

How I needed that!

I didn't even realize

That I had sunk into compare

But now I see so clearly...

Hell can never win this game

You're helping me beyond compare!

To see what there might be!

Maybe there's a letter, 

A sweet surprise to see!

All to often it's just bills

No surprise to see

But that will not 

Discourage me...

For I've a treasure chest of Love!

Ever living, ever fresh,

Letters from above!!!

Oh, Dear beloved

Child of Mine,

I've Words of Joy,

Love sooo kind!

The mail box of Love is full,

Beloved child, 

Oh, look!

Come see!

Amazing Grace

Christ's victory!

Behold the wind it blows about

The evidence is clear!

The limbs on trees

They bend and sway,

The wind can move them

Just that way!

Now think about what's spiritual,

My Word is so alive!

The evidence is very clear

It brings to life a hardened heart,

It makes the soil good,

Produces fruit, abundant life,

Indeed, just as it should!

Now tend to weeds...

Think spirit too 

But they are not for you!

Don't let the worldly choke and sap,

Be so alert,

On this don't nap!

Oh, Father

Yes, I understand!

Alive and active is Your Word,

I have abundant life!

I am to keep away the doubt

And pull those lies

Right out!

I've ears to hear

 And eyes to see...

There’s something

I want you to see!

You’ve heard forth

My promises,

You’re learning how to speak!

Wisdom gives instruction,

In knowledge you’re not weak!

Come consider this,

My child,

There is reward with Wisdom,

Good expected end!

All that you believe with Me

You’ll see, oh see, that end!

Stay ever close to Wisdom,

Instruction, child, good teaching!

Then all that you’re expecting

Through faith keep on, keep reaching!

 I found a scripture, Lord, today,

I see it's like an old time tale

The Tortoise and The Hare-

That tale!

Diligent to plentiful,

Hasty leads to want!

Wisdom's speaking to my heart,

Be diligent - no want!

Keep focused, child, 

Keep going!

Be diligent for sure,

For hasty gets off course 

Forgetting what is pure!

Let go of hopping all about...

Hasty leads to want

But diligent-

No want!!!

I pray Lord,

 That I will take heed...

Go in the way of diligent

Where plenty does abound

Not in the way of hasty

Where want is where I'm found!

I know that I will listen

For Wisdom's in my heart

I'm diligent to walk with You

Refusing fear - it's frown!

And as I go about my day

Tending to my garden

I talk with You about Your Word...

Of Your Word!!!

For every need

Dear Father,

I hear You telling me, 

Hold on!

Beloved child,

Hold on!

Stand firmly with the belt of truth!

The shield of faith, you hold!

Quench every fiery dart of hell

Shout, "Grace!" child, be so bold!

Rest in My tender care

I'm helping you

In all that's true,

Beloved, 

I'm for you!!!

Oh Father,

I won't say a word,

Not a word that comes from hell,

But I shall shout

The Blessing well!

"Grace!" I shout to mountains!

Your power makes them move

And then I just go on ahead
