Movie heroes aren't for me,

They don't give me

Victory!

Flying, zapping, swinging sword -

They aren't real

But You are, Lord!
You pulled me from the pit,
You lifted me from quicksand -
Now, on Your Word
I stand!
Movie heroes aren't for me -
Jesus, Jesus,
You're for me!!! 

Oh, yes, My child,

So very good ...

Thinking, speaking, 

As you should!

Movie heroes ... 

What are they?
What's a hero anyway?
One who saves you,
Yes, you see,
You are saved ...
Christ set you free!!!
